At the Ivoire or Sofitel hotel, the third edition of the Ivory Coast Real Estate Fair was held last March. The idea for this show comes from Mind Ici, a company based in the country and which works in close collaboration with the public services in particular the Ministry of Construction, Housing and Urbanism.

A topical issue

The theme of this third edition is “Real estate innovation facing the challenge of sustainable development”. In this meeting, actors of the Ivorian real estate sector met to discuss long-term real estate projects.

There were indeed construction firms, real estate agencies, and real estate advisers. We also noticed the presence of Célestin Koala, current Director of Housing and the living environment who represented his Minister.

In fact, real estate innovation must take place in order to ensure fairly rapid urbanization of cities. Urbanization which is rooted in long-term development in order to have a well-built country capable of accommodating many.

Real estate a ‘major priority’

Célestin Koala, as a good representative, did not hesitate to emphasize the fact that the housing problem is very well considered by his Ministry. And that real estate concerns the Government which is active in beneficial real estate projects.

During this fair, the Government, well represented, knew how to renew its responsibility by indicating to all the actors of the stone in Côte d’Ivoire that real estate remains a major priority. Priority classified in this way for ten years.

The Ivorian government has therefore reaffirmed its desire to practice the rental-purchase option of housing. An option where the future owner will not pay a base financial rate as seen elsewhere. An announcement that delights people with neither guarantee nor bank financing.

An exhortation to innovation

During the third edition of the real estate fair in Côte d’Ivoire, the structures of the real estate industry were called upon to show creativity and innovation. An action that aims not only to balance development in cities, but perhaps also to allow many to become owners without too large a budget.

In the same vein, the government services, in charge of the construction of houses in Côte d’Ivoire, recalled that they expect an architectural symbiosis so that the modes of housing are more harmonized. A real estate project that would embellish more cities, we remember from this show where we expected nearly 26,000 visitors.
